Collins' best drumming was with Brand X and Plant. I was in a band that played Burning Down One Side about 20 years ago and forgot how much fun that was to play.

Because of Phil's pop success, many folks are unaware of his prowess of groove & ideas behind the kit...I think we here all know that, while not in the Vinnie/Virgil/Weckl [et al] league [i say that because I'm in here [img]wink.gif[/img] , he is a valuable asset & contribution to the drumming/music community...the Brand X stuff was killer...always had great drummers [Phil, M Clark, C Burgi, F Katz, even K Dennard]...& Phil grooves his arse off on Is There Anything About...besides the pop stuff, I also thought he did "way cooler" stuff with Genesis all the way up to Duke; especially Wind & Wuthering, & Then There Were 3, Lamb Lies, Foxtrot, Trick of the Tail, Selling England By the Pound...
